“It’s your age”… or “My mom suffered during her menopause, so I’m just doomed”. Is that how you relate to your own menopause? Or maybe fear it because you believe there is nothing you can do? Today, we are going to crush 6 Biggest Menopause Myths that keep you from thriving. PS: Your mom’s menopause has little to do with yours!

Menopause Myths

For sure you’ve heard those commentaries many times when women who talk about menopause. It may come surprising to you that the beliefs that have been handed down to us from generation to generation are, in reality, a bunch of myths. Debra Atkinson of Flipping Fifty podcast explained to us why those beliefs that we got from our parents and ancestors are just menopause myths since they do not have the backing of Science. 

People always say, “This is just the way aging works, you’re bound to suffer.” The basic idea is – if you believe it, you can manifest it. We actually have the ability to reverse the effects of aging. If we’re going to do our research in regards to menopause, we’re going to come up empty-handed with any direct correlation between menopause and weight gain. We do know that we may have a genetic predisposition, but how we live our lives will dictate how we thrive in it.
