I’m thinking of food/eating less often
It’s interesting how much my thinking has evolved in such a short time taking the Going Beyond The Food Method. I’m noticing I’m thinking of food/eating less often.
I am so thankful that I didn’t ignore that voice inside
I have avoided criticism my whole life but now in the Going Beyond the Food Method, I truly look forward to new revelations because with each “a-ha” moment, I am gaining ground and living a more joyful life.

It’s a big shift in my mindset
Removing the restrictions has been helpful. It’s a big shift in my mindset after doing Stephanie's program. Labeling feelings has been crucial for me too. I find that I am feeling more in tune with my experiences and reactions to situations.
I now have the tools and knowledge to engage with food as a source of nutrition, without a diet mindset
Stephanie's program was great at peeling back all of the layers and getting to the root of the “why”. I get to add stuff to my plate instead of restricting! This program on re-engaging with food from a place of nutrition and enjoyment, to reactivate our internal nutritionist and help to get back to eating because we’re hungry, then stopping when full.
A life-changing program
I was depressed, binging daily, often anxious, irritable, and very mean to myself all day long. I was not in a good place at all. In fact, I felt pretty desperate. Also, I'd been diagnosed with thyroid, adrenal and other health issues.
As a result of working one-on-one with Stephanie, everything has shifted. First of all, I'm calmer, I'm more trusting, I feel like my body and I are friends again. Also, though my health isn't perfect, thanks to Stephanie's guidance, I trust fully that my body is giving me important messages that will guide me back to health and wellness. Finally, I feel so much happier more peaceful and generally less anxious/irritable.
I LOVED my one on one sessions with Stephanie. I felt listened to, cared for, and like I was given tangible ways to help!! Of course her interest in mindfulness and neuroscience, my favorite topics ever, was an even nicer bonus!
I will forever be changed. I know that this is just the beginning of my journey towards true health.
I now live in hope, I didn’t know that I didn’t know so much...
I am now able to calm my body, Stephanie has taught me breathing techniques that help me so much. Going Beyond The Food Method has introduced me to a world of possibility and I feel excited.

I’m tearing up thinking about it because I have been struggling with this for decades!
The information that you shared about food cravings was life-changing for me. I have asked several therapists about stopping uncontrollable late night munchies. They’ve all offered up some truly unhelpful advice like “try having a protein shake” or “get those big chewy pretzels that take a long time to eat” (&%^ to both of those, am I right?)
I was blown away when you were talking in-depth about getting to the root of the craving. I’m tearing up thinking about it because I have been struggling with this for decades!

It was really enlightening for me to use the guided activity to identify the repeat emotions that occur that I ‘use’ food to deal with & try to suppress the emotion rather than feeling it.
Doing the mental work, feeling my feelings and emotions in an honest way has enabled me the awareness and an open-minded approach to be mindful & create the needed change.
It's a holistic approach to your well-being and looking after yourself.
My perspective changed, I stopped chasing weight loss and started chasing health. I have a road map. The real information about food and how to listen to my body and what it is telling me, learning to respect and trust myself. Over time, I am becoming more confident and self-aware.
This is one of the biggest gifts you can give yourself. It's a holistic approach to your well-being and looking after yourself allows you to give more to others, it's not a quick fix but the journey for the rest of your life and this is the map.🍀
